The existing site combines dense information, many navigation options and a weak visual hierarchy. This makes it harder to understand the organization’s purpose, find relevant information and take the next step towards adoption.
Create a welcoming website that puts animals and their needs at the center. Help potential adopters understand their options, explore available animals and find clear ways to support the organization.
Identify problems in the existing website and address them through a clearer structure, simpler navigation and a consistent visual hierarchy. Carry these decisions through to responsive layouts and the website prototype.
The organization’s core message gets lost among news and information.
There is no clear distinction between primary and secondary content.
Content is crowded in the center beside large empty areas.
Too many navigation options make it difficult to find your way quickly.
Small, tightly packed text makes reading and scanning difficult.
Mapping the existing site made its many categories and long branches visible. The revised structure brings adoption and the matching questionnaire into the main navigation, groups ways to help, and introduces a dedicated adopter community.
Information, news and organization content spread across a deep structure.
Clearer entry points for adoption, matching, helping and contacting the organization.
I chose to create a new logo that feels warmer and more loving. The mark brings a dog and cat together with an outstretched, supporting hand — a symbol of the many ways people can help: adoption, volunteering, donations and fostering. It expresses the care and connection at the heart of giving dogs and cats a safe, loving home.

A family of purples gives the interface a recognizable identity. Cream and pale yellow add warmth and contrast, supporting a friendly experience around a serious purpose.

התהליך מתחיל במילוי טופס בקשת אימוץ וטופס התאמה. בטפסים המאמצים עונים על שאלות שעוזרות לנו להבין את אורח החיים, ההרכב המשפחתי והציפיות, ולבחון התאמה לאופי החיה ולמה שידוע עליה. לאחר מילוי הטפסים מתקיימת שיחת היכרות עם צוות העמותה, במטרה להעמיק את ההתאמה ולוודא מוכנות לליווי, לסבלנות ולתקופת הסתגלות. מעבר מכלוב לבית ולחיים חדשים הוא תהליך משמעותי עבור הכלב, ואנחנו כאן כדי לוודא שהוא נעשה בצורה אחראית, רגישה ומיטיבה לשני הצדדים.
תהליך האימוץ כולל בדיקת התאמה, תיאום ציפיות ושקיפות מלאה מצד העמותה. אנו משתפים בכל מידע שידוע לנו לגבי מצבו הבריאותי של הכלב, התנהגותו והצרכים הצפויים ממנו, כדי לאפשר קבלת החלטה מודעת ואחראית. בהמשך התהליך מתבצעת חתימה על טפסי אימוץ, העברת הבעלות בשבב, ותשלום סל האימוץ. לאחר האימוץ הכלב עובר לביתו החדש, בליווי, זמינות ותמיכה מצד צוות העמותה גם בתקופת ההסתגלות.
בהחלט. תהליך האימוץ מתאים גם למי שמאמץ כלב בפעם הראשונה. העמותה מספקת מידע, ליווי ותמיכה לאורך הדרך, ובמידת הצורך גם סיוע בציוד בהשאלה, בכפוף לזמינות. עם זאת, ישנם מקרים שבהם כלבים מסוימים יתאימו יותר למאמצים בעלי ניסיון קודם. ההמלצה נעשית תמיד מתוך אחריות ורצון לקדם תהליך נכון, רגוע ומיטיב לשני הצדדים.
בהחלט, ואף מדובר בשלב הכרחי בתהליך. לא ניתן לאמץ כלב על סמך שיחה טלפונית בלבד. מפגש והיכרות מוקדמת הם תנאי לאימוץ אחראי. את הביקור יש לתאם מראש באמצעות טופס בקשת אימוץ באתר. הפגישה מתקיימת בנוכחות כל בני המשפחה המתגוררים בבית, כחלק בלתי נפרד מתהליך בדיקת ההתאמה וההיכרות ההדדית. המטרה היא לוודא חיבור נכון, ציפיות ברורות והתחלה טובה עבור הכלב והמשפחה גם יחד.
כל מקרה נבחן לגופו. גם כאשר מצוין שכלב מסתדר עם ילדים, חשוב להבין מה גילאי הילדים, מה רמת האנרגיה בבית ומה אופי המשפחה. יש כלבים שיתאימו לבית עם ילדים צעירים ותנועה רבה, ולעומתם יש כלבים שזקוקים לסביבה שקטה יותר ויתאימו בעיקר לבית עם ילדים בוגרים. המטרה שלנו היא התאמה נכונה שתאפשר לכלב ולמשפחה לחיות יחד בצורה רגועה ובטוחה לאורך זמן.
